How Does Martin Logan Sound?
These have very crisp highs, great detail and do well with guitar strings, drums, snares and "complicated" music. Ex: Bands like Radiohead, Sting and Sade really excel. Music with great studio production really shines with this line-up. They also provide great sound dispersion throughout the room so they don't lose much detail and volume if you have seats that are off-axis, like to lie on the floor or have a 6' neck. This is better for filling up a room with even sound compared to other ML speakers that have more limited horizontal and vertical dispersion. If you are tinnitus "I like neutral flat sound" guy, these might be a tad bright for your liking. However, they are definitely worth a listen even if you are sensitive-ear man as they aren't as bright or forward as many other lines, including the step-up "Motion XT" series.
